Notes
'Kursar flowering' cherry (Prunus 'Kursar flowering') is a tree for use as a specimen. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It grows fast with an upright-spreading, vase-shaped habit. Flowers open from early to late spring, and the bronze leaves turn orange and gold in fall.
Pairs well with Prairie dropseed, Shasta daisy, and Grape hyacinth.
