Notes
'La Fresco' lobelia (Lobelia 'La Fresco') is a perennial for pollinator gardens and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet soil. Rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Plum-purple flowers open in late summer and early autumn, and butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit the blooms.
Pairs well with Cheyenne Spirit echinacea, Standing Ovation little bluestem, and Stargazer lily.
