Notes

'Sparkle DeVine' lobelia (Lobelia 'Sparkle DeVine') is a perennial for pollinator gardens, cottage gardens, and rain gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet soil. Lavender to purple flowers open in late summer and early autumn and draw butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal. Plants reach 30 to 48 inches tall.

Pairs well with Ironweed, Sweet pepperbush, and Standing Ovation little bluestem.
