Notes

'Rose Beacon' lobelia (Lobelia 'Rose Beacon') is a perennial for pollinator gardens, cottage gardens, and rain gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet soil. Deer tend to browse other plants first. It grows 24 to 36 inches tall and bears rose pink flowers from mid to late summer into early autumn. Butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Obedient plant, Cinnamon fern, Sweet pepperbush, and Standing Ovation little bluestem.
