'Late Spencer' sweet pea (Lathyrus odoratus 'Late Spencer') is an annual vine for borders, containers, cottage gardens, and privacy screens. It shrugs off cool spells and light frost, though a hard freeze will damage it. This plant likes full sun and average to moist soil. It grows at a rapid rate and blooms in early to late spring and again in early to late summer. The flowers are fragrant and attract butterflies.

Pairs well with Mammoth Grey Stripe sunflower, Bright Lights cosmos, and Red fescue.
