Notes
'Lee x Nova' mandarin orange (Citrus reticulata 'Lee x Nova') is a tree for the food garden. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 9 and warmer, down to about 20°F (-7°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes full sun. It has an upright, densely branching habit. The fruits are easy to peel, seedless, and juicy with a sweet-tart flavor, and they ripen early in the season.
Pairs well with Hass avocado, Hachiya persimmon, and Mexican heather.
