Notes
'Lemon Purrfection' nepeta (Nepeta 'Lemon Purrfection') is a perennial for borders, pathways, containers, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry soil. The golden foliage turns lime green in shadier spots, and the lavender flowers bloom nonstop without deadheading. Bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds visit it, and it forms a neat clump that will not spread.
Pairs well with Autumn Fire sedum, Poverty oatgrass, and Basket flower.
