Notes

'Longipes' nepeta (Nepeta 'Longipes') is a perennial for borders, pollinator gardens, cottage gardens, and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal. Lilac flowers appear in early to late spring and again in early to late summer. Butterflies and bees visit the fragrant blooms.

Pairs well with Pale purple coneflower, Blonde Ambition blue grama, Nodding onion, and Blanket flower.
