Notes
'Leona' Lenten rose (Helleborus 'Leona') is a perennial. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes part sun. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal. Its near-red flowers face outward and have subtle pink mottling around yellow centers. Dark green leathery leaves form a lush mound below the blooms.
Pairs well with Snowdrop, Chocolate lily, and Autumn Brilliance juneberry.
