Notes

Leopard plant (Farfugium japonicum) is a perennial for borders, containers, and shade gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full sun to full shade and average to wet soil of most types. It forms a clump of green and gold-yellow foliage that grows 12 to 24 inches tall and wide. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. Yellow flowers add color to the clump.

Pairs well with Japanese forest grass, Azalea, Wild ginger, and Bigleaf hydrangea.
