Notes

'Lilacea' tiger flower (Tigridia pavonia 'Lilacea') is a bulb for borders, containers, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. It blooms from early to late summer and stays 12 to 24 inches tall. It is also drought tolerant. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything.

Pairs well with Orange daylily, Labyrinth dahlia, and Mondo grass.
