Lookabout parlor palm

Garden uses

Notes

'Lookabout' parlor palm (Chamaedorea elegans 'Lookabout') is a houseplant for a specimen, an accent, or a shade garden. This plant likes full shade and dry to moist, loamy soil. It grows slowly and stays evergreen all year. The erect habit gives you a neat, upright shape. Once settled, it is drought tolerant, so you do not need to fuss over it.

Pairs well with Mother fern, Candidum angel wings, Sparkler sedge, and Beacon White impatiens.
