Notes

'Lotus Elegance' lily (Lilium 'Lotus Elegance') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. The double flowers are pale purplish pink with pinkish white edges and a yellow-green throat. They are fragrant and bloom from early to late summer. Butterflies and hummingbirds visit them, and each stem carries up to 6 blooms on stems about 0.7 m tall.

Pairs well with Monsieur Jules Elie peony, American Gold Rush black-eyed Susan, Standing Ovation little bluestem, and Limelight hydrangea.
