Notes

'Limelight' hydrangea (Hydrangea paniculata 'Limelight') is a shrub for borders, hedges, specimen planting, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. The blooms open chartreuse-lime and age to rose, and bees and butterflies visit them. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. The leaves also add fall color.

Pairs well with Western sword fern and Black-eyed Susan.
