Notes
'Luteum Plenum' oleander (Nerium oleander 'Luteum Plenum') is a shrub for hedges, privacy screens, borders, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Creamy yellow, fragrant flowers appear in spring and summer, and butterflies visit them. It grows fast and stays evergreen, and it tolerates drought and salt. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal.
Pairs well with White sage, Italian cypress, Mondo grass, and Century plant.
