Notes

'Luteus' wintersweet (Chimonanthus praecox 'Luteus') is a shrub for borders, containers, and winter interest. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist soil of most types. It has an arching shape and grows slowly to about 9 or 10 feet tall. The fragrant flowers open in winter and bring bees. It also tolerates drought.
