Notes

'Magdalena' freesia (Freesia 'Magdalena') is a bulb for cut flowers and specimen use. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 9 and warmer, down to about 20°F (-7°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. The fragrant flowers open in early to late summer. They are lemon yellow inside and Indian yellow outside, with ivory white veins. A. Valstar bred it.

Pairs well with Cyclamen, Christmas bells, and Giant chain fern.
