Notes

'Mariesii' Japanese snowball (Viburnum plicatum 'Mariesii') is a shrub for borders, specimen planting, and hedges. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. It grows fast into a dense shrub, and it is drought tolerant. Butterflies, bees, and birds visit it, and the leaves turn color in fall.

Pairs well with English Roseum rhododendron, Siebold's hosta, and Wood forget-me-not.
