Notes
'Mars' freesia (Freesia 'Mars') is a bulb for cut flowers and specimen planting. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 9 and warmer, down to about 20°F (-7°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. The fragrant flowers are cobalt violet and fade to pastel mauve toward the center. They open from early to late summer.
Pairs well with Apple Blossom amaryllis, Creme de Cognac dahlia, and Vetiver.
