Notes
'Marseilles' sweet pea (Lathyrus odoratus 'Marseilles') is a vine for borders, containers, cottage gardens, and privacy screens. It is hardy to USDA zone 2, or down to -50°F (-46°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist soil. It grows at a rapid rate and has a broad habit. The fragrant flowers appear in early to late spring and again in early to late summer, and they attract butterflies.
Pairs well with Floristan sunflower, Split Second Morning Glory morning glory, and Red fescue.
