Notes

'Floristan' sunflower (Helianthus annuus 'Floristan') is an annual for borders, pollinator gardens, and cottage gardens. It is not cold-hardy and will not survive freezing temperatures. This plant likes full sun and average to moist soil of most types. Butterflies, bees, and birds all visit it. Deer tend to pass it by. It grows fast and reaches 35 to 59 inches tall.

Pairs well with Sensation cosmos, Cerise Queen yarrow, and Red fescue.
