Notes

'Melody Allegro' dahlia (Dahlia 'Melody Allegro') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil. Dark pink-red blooms open in early to late summer and again in early to late autumn, and butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit them. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal. Gebr. Verwer bred it.

Pairs well with Purple top, Lemongrass, and Ironweed.
