Notes
'Melody Mambo' dahlia (Dahlia 'Melody Mambo') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It blooms from early to late summer and again in early to late autumn. Butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit the flowers. It stays about 24 inches tall, so it fits well in a pot.
Pairs well with Russian sage, Globe thistle, and Purple top.
