Notes

'Milk and Honey' Chinese astilbe (Astilbe chinensis 'Milk and Honey') is a perennial for borders, containers, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun to full shade and average to moist soil of most types. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. It blooms from early to late summer and draws butterflies and bees.

Pairs well with Obsidian coral bells, Siebold's hosta, and Nelly Moser clematis.
