Notes

'Vision in PInk' Chinese astilbe (Astilbe chinensis 'Vision in PInk') is a perennial for borders, containers, and low maintenance beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun to full shade and average to moist, loamy soil. It blooms from early to late summer and draws butterflies and bees. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. It also tolerates drought once settled in.

Pairs well with Rainbow's End hosta, Royal fern, and Dr. Alexander Fleming peony.
