Notes

'Moody' dahlia (Dahlia 'Moody') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil. Its reddish purple outer florets surround a vivid yellow base, and butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the blooms. Fa. Gebr. Verwer bred it in 1993.

Pairs well with Johnny jump up, Mondo grass, June hosta, and Eden rose.
