Notes
Munro's globemallow (Sphaeralcea munroana) is a perennial for borders, containers, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun and dry, sandy or loamy soil. It grows 24 to 36 inches tall and bears orange, five-petaled flowers in leafy spikes. Butterflies and bees visit the blooms, and the plant tolerates drought.
Pairs well with Desert mallow, Firecracker penstemon, and Blaufuchs blue fescue.
