Notes

'Blaufuchs' blue fescue (Festuca glauca 'Blaufuchs') is a grass for borders, containers, rock gardens, and xeriscapes. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. It grows as a clumping mound and tolerates drought. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal. Butterflies visit it, and the clumps spread about 12 inches.

Pairs well with Stonecrop, Lavender, Yarrow, and Russian sage.
