Notes

New Zealand iris (Libertia peregrinans) is a perennial for borders and low maintenance beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. It is evergreen and drought tolerant. Deer tend to pass it by. It grows 12 to 24 inches tall and wide, so it fits well near the front of a border.

Pairs well with Agapanthus, Ostfriesland sage, and Flame African daisy.
