Notes

'October Sky' dahlia (Dahlia 'October Sky') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil. The 5 inch blooms are bicolor, with a yellow center that fades to salmon-pink on the outer petals. Bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds visit the flowers.

Pairs well with Butterfly bush, Lamb’s ear, and Jackmanii clematis.
