Notes

Oriental white oak (Quercus aliena) is a tree for specimen planting and shade. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and average moisture. It reaches 40 to 80 feet tall and wide, so give it plenty of room. Yellowish-green flowers open in mid to late spring. The leaves turn a fall color before they drop.

Pairs well with Hornbeam, Serviceberry, and Japanese forest grass.
