Notes

'Pandora' leopard plant (Ligularia dentata 'Pandora') is a perennial for shade gardens, containers, and bold foliage accents. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade. The ruffled leaves open dark burgundy, turn dark brown, and become olive green by midsummer. Rabbits tend to nibble other plants first. Yellow daisy-like flowers rise above the mounds in summer and attract bees.

Pairs well with Humpback Whale hosta, Elecampane, and Blackhaw viburnum.
