Notes

'The Rocket' leopard plant (Ligularia stenocephala 'The Rocket') is a perennial for borders, rain gardens, and low maintenance beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun to full shade and average to wet, loamy or clay soil. Lemon yellow flowers open from early to late summer on tall spikes. Butterflies visit the blooms. It grows 36 to 60 inches tall and 24 to 48 inches wide, so give it room.

Pairs well with Cardinal flower, Cinnamon fern, and Sedge.
