Notes

'Passionale' dahlia (Dahlia 'Passionale') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil. The purple blooms measure about 140mm wide and have light purple tips with yellowish white veins. Bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds visit the flowers. N. Kops bred it in 2003.

Pairs well with Purple top, Ornamental onion, and Joe-pyeweed.
