Notes

'Penny Lahn' begonia (Begonia 'Penny Lahn') is a perennial for borders, containers, and shade gardens. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 10 and warmer, down to about 30°F (-1°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes part sun to full shade and dry to moist soil. It bears pink flowers in early to late summer and again in early to late autumn. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. It grows 12 to 18 inches tall and wide.

Pairs well with Southern shield fern, Wild ginger, and Licorice plant.
