Notes

'Pentewan' daffodil (Narcissus 'Pentewan') is a bulb for borders, containers, cottage gardens, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or clay soil. P.D. Williams bred it, and the fragrant flowers have chrome yellow petals with a sulphur yellow cup. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Bees and butterflies visit the early blooms.

Pairs well with Lenten rose, Blue fescue, and Coral Charm peony.
