Notes

'Pesto Perpetuo' basil (Ocimum basilicum 'Pesto Perpetuo') is an herb for the food garden, grown for fresh or dried leaves with a hint of lemon and cinnamon. It is typically grown as an annual. Frost will kill it, so set it out only after the last frost in spring. This plant likes full sun and average moisture. The grey-green leaves have cream edges, and the bushy plants do not flower. You can also grow it indoors on a windowsill.

Pairs well with Sunset Torch F1 tomato, Dark Green Italian parsley, and Fern Leaf dill.
