Notes

'Piggy Tails' daylily (Hemerocallis 'Piggy Tails') is a perennial for borders and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average soil. The purple blooms have a green throat and a fragrant scent, and butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit them. Rabbits tend to pass it by. It also tolerates drought and salt.

Pairs well with Smooth aster, Nodding onion, and Foxtail barley.
