Notes

'Pink Morning' turkscap lily (Lilium martagon 'Pink Morning') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, and specimen plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun to full shade and average to moist soil of most types. The purple-red flowers are fragrant and open in summer. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the blooms. Its erect stems reach about 35 to 47 inches tall.

Pairs well with June hosta, Aureola Japanese forest grass, and Smoketree.
