Notes

'Manitoba Morning' turkscap lily (Lilium martagon 'Manitoba Morning') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, cut flowers, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. Eugene Fox bred it. Its fragrant yellow-orange flowers attract butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. The erect stems reach 35 to 47 inches tall.

Pairs well with June hosta, Aureola Japanese forest grass, and Catmint.
