Notes
'Polar Ice' iris (Iris histrioides 'Polar Ice') is a bulb for containers, borders, and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes part sun. The icy white flowers have royal blue and yellow details and seem lit from within on a grey late winter day. It blooms in early spring, so plant it at the front of the border. Give it good drainage.
Pairs well with China Town tulip, Samantha lily, and Tickseed.
