Notes
'Katharine's Gold' iris (Iris histrioides 'Katharine's Gold') is a bulb for containers, borders, and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes part sun. Pale yellow and white flowers with blue dots open in late winter to spring and have a lovely fragrance. Give it good drainage, and plant it at the front of the border where you can enjoy the early color.
Pairs well with Artist tulip, Wild geranium, and Tickseed.
