Notes

'Pooh' dahlia (Dahlia 'Pooh') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. The small bicolor collarette blooms come in yellow, orange, and red, and butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit them. Deer rarely make it their first choice. Keep it away from pets, since it is toxic to dogs and cats.

Pairs well with Purple top, Lemongrass, and Vermillionaire cuphea.
