Notes

'Prairie Sun' celosia (Celosia 'Prairie Sun') is an annual for cut flowers, pollinator gardens, and accents. Frost will kill it, so set it out only after the last frost in spring. This plant likes full sun, average moisture, and sandy or loamy soil. It blooms from early to late summer, and butterflies and bees visit the flowers. You can cut the stems for bouquets. It sits low on the menu for deer.

Pairs well with Hamari Gold dahlia, Pride of madeira, and Black-eyed Susan vine.
