Notes

'Preamble' daffodil (Narcissus 'Preamble') is a bulb for borders, containers, cottage gardens, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or clay soil. The fragrant blooms open brilliant yellow and fade to lemon, and bees and butterflies visit them. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. G.L. Wilson bred it.

Pairs well with Bartzella peony, Nelly Moser clematis, and Big bluestem.
