Notes
Prickly poppy (Argemone albiflora) is an annual for low maintenance and xeriscape gardens. This plant likes full sun to part shade and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Its cupped white flowers sit at the top of tall, bristly stems, and bees visit them for pollen. Deer rarely make it their first choice. You can pull it up after the spring bloom if you wish.
Pairs well with Frogfruit, Chia, and Society garlic.
