Notes

'Purple Mountain' African daisy (Osteospermum barberiae 'Purple Mountain') is a perennial for rock gardens, edging, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry soil. It forms a mat of green leaves topped with lavender purple daisies that have yellow centers. Blooms come in waves from spring to summer, and deadheading keeps flowers coming until frost. Grow it in lean soil and do not over-irrigate.

Pairs well with Cushion spurge, Ornamental onion, and Purple lovegrass.
