Notes

Pygmy date palm (Phoenix roebelenii) is a houseplant for containers, specimen use, and accent plantings. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 9 and warmer, down to about 20°F (-7°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. It grows slowly and keeps its evergreen gray-green fronds all year. The plant also tolerates drought.

Pairs well with Little Gem southern magnolia, Olive, and Lemongrass.

Australia.
