Notes
'Ra' canna (Canna 'Ra') is a perennial for borders, containers, and accents. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet, loamy or clay soil. It blooms in early to late summer and again in early to late autumn. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. Hummingbirds, butterflies, and bees visit the flowers.
Pairs well with Vermillionaire cuphea, Fountain grass, and Virginia sweetspire.
