Notes

'Red' canna (Canna 'Red') is a bulb for borders, containers, and accents. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet, loamy or clay soil. It blooms in early to late summer and again in early to late autumn. Hummingbirds and birds visit the flowers. It also tolerates drought and salt.

Pairs well with Karl Foerster feather reed grass, Ostrich fern, and Fountain grass.
